Good morning to you!!  This post is particularly close to my heart.  Why?  Well let me tell you.  I have long been a Creating Keepsakes magazine fan.  Long time.  From the start, long time.  So you can imagine my crazy excitedness when they requested one of my layouts for the first time last year.  I was elated.    That feeling did not change when they accepted another one of my layouts for this special Mixed Media Vol. 2 issue.  I did not know then that this would be one of the last issues produced for Creating Keepsakes.  So this is a bitter sweet thing for me.    Here is a sneek of my layout:

 

 

 Not only was I excited to be in this issue, it is a pleasure to share it with great designers!  A few of us joined together for this hop to share our love for the issue.  It truly is a great one!!  Packed full of great techniques and lovelies!  Be sure to stop by these uber talented ladies and leave them some love!

Got Crafty today!

Good morning!!  So today I wanted to get crafty.  I get that feeling A LOT.   I made this cut file this morning for Free Cut Friday at The Scrap Review.   Here is how my project turned out:

Had to share!

Okay so I have to share this.  A few days ago I went into Hobby Lobby and purchased this big wood H.  I then saw some burlap and got thinking.  So I went home with some burlap ribbon,  spool of burlap and the H.   As I started working on it yesterday, I knew I didn't have all I needed so I threw the kids in the van and went to JoAnn's where I got the rest of my embellishments.  Here is the end product.  I'm so happy with how it turned out!!

September Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday
