Family Pictures

Okay so yesterday my family got our pictures taken.  We met my friend Christi and her family at the Mesa temple so they could get their photos done as well.  She took our pictures, I took theirs.   I think we did a fair job and got good shots.  I tend to like warmer photos so I edited mine to look warmer.  Christi likes a cooler shot and in the shade.  It was a great time.  We stayed until it was dark to enjoy the Christmas lights on the temple grounds and then headed to Rancho Tia Rosa for dinner.  Holy cow yummy!  I love that place!  Here are some photos from our shoot.

I am thankful...

There are so many things that I am thankful for and I will try to post pictures along with what I am thankful for.  It's a challenge but a good one.

My husband.  Oh what a man!  What an amazing, good, honest, wonderful man I married.   I couldn't have asked for a better person for me.  He is kind and gentle and loving.  He is an amazing father.  A hard worker and just an all in all amazing man.  I love you babe!

For my children:

Andrew:  You are just such a great son!  You are so helpful and are just kindhearted.  You are an amazing example to your brother and sisters.  What a great boy you are!  I love you!

Sarah:  You are such a pretty girl!  You help me so much with Carly and Ryan and you just make me happy.  You are so happy and have such a great desire to help.  I love you!

Ryan:  Oh you are so fun!   I love your adventurous nature- hence the split chin and pushed back tooth.  Always fun to play with and just good for a snug!  I love you!

Carly:  For being a sweet baby.  I love you!

For my parents:  Thank you for always being supportive and such loving parents.  I love you!

For my siblings: For just putting up with me!  I love you!

For my in laws: Thank you for all you do for me on a continuous basis.  I couldn't have asked for better in laws.  I love you!

For Great Aunt Jeanine:  You truly are great!  I love you!

For the Harris Family:  For including me in your family.  I love you!

For all my friends:  Thank you for your support, love and friendship.  You know who you are.   Sorry if I don't have a picture of you.

Love me some Pink Paislee!!

Okay so I am addicted to Pink Paislee lately.  I love it.  It is so fun to work with and pretty versatile too.  Well I made this little card last night.  It was a fun to see what came out of my head.  Have a great Wednesday!!

Yes I have been tagged again, this time by my friend Sharyn.  Love her!  So here goes, 7 more random things about me.

1.  I love Dr. Pepper with plain m&m's but haven't had Dr. Pepper in 9 years.

2.  I am addicted to the tv shows Chuck and Heroes.  (oooh they are on tonight!! WOO HOO!)

3.  I am completely and totally unorganized.

4.  I love to try new things and buy stuff for it and then sadly it goes unused.  (That is not how it will be with my new photography bug that I have caught.  I have spent too much money on it, so far.)

5.  When getting a new line of product, I use it until I get sick of it.

6.  I love snow.  I love it when it is snowing at night because everything seems so quiet and calm.  I get the best sleep then.  Makes sense that I haven't slept like that in 8+ years as I live in hot AZ.

7.  I need new shoes.  How's that for random!

My new lens and Sass

Okay so I got my new lens and I love love love it!!  I took some shots of Sarah outside our house yesterday and this is what they turned out like.  I really like it, save for maybe the stucco background.  Oh well.  It's what I had to play with.  Have a great Friday!!

Okay so I finally have been getting into scrapping after taking a week break.  Not a wanted break, but a break nonetheless.  So I played along with 2 Sketches 4 You this week, and here is what I got done.  I love this Wassail line by Basic Grey!  Yummy Stuff!!  TFL!

Not yet 30...

Well I have been MIA for at least a week.  I told you I would be.  Anywho, today I turn the big 29!  Yep, the last year of my 20's.   I am sure it will go by fast and I won't even remember it, but for now, I'm good.  I want to say thank you to my parents who came down for Carly's blessing.  It was a great day.  Thank you to Shelly and David who came across the country for it!  It was great to see you!!  Thank you to Ken and Betsy for the birthday dinner on Sunday!  Such yummy food and great company were had.

Now to show you my birthday present.

Pretty isn't she?  Well I haven't gotten it yet.  Still looking around for the best price.    Anywho, I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!   It's good to be back!

Thankful

Well I have been and will be MIA for a while.  I have family coming this weekend and my goal is to be completely settled in our house.  All laundry done and put away.  All boxes unpacked or packed up in the attic.  Yeah we shall see how this goes. 

Anywho, for this weeks Card-A-Licious challenge, we were to do a thankful card or give thanks.  Here is what I came up with.   TFL!!

Halloween Pictures

Now the only reason I am posting these is so that my mom and family can see them.  All of the pictures I took last night were extremely blurry and I could just cry!  You are seeing these ones because I did some extensive editing, well as much as you can with iPhoto.  Anywho, here are my cute kids in all their cuteness!!
