A creative share, a give away and the last post before....

the baby is here! WOO HOO!  So I will be going in  to the hospital tonight to be induced and expected delivery is tomorrow.   So before I go, I thought I'd leave with a few things I have made in the last few days.

Two in a day...

Well posts that is.  Which is okay for me.  I am sitting here waiting for dinner to be ready and thought well, why not!?  Kids are watching Dora and all that fun stuff.  I am sure there are a million little things I could be doing, like cleaning the bathroom, folding laundry, but I am going to reserve that for tonight when the kids are sleeping.

Anywho, here is a card I made based on Laura's sketch at 2Sketches4You this week.  I really liked how it turned out.  TFL!

Enjoy the little things...

So I have decided that my best work time is in the morning while my kids are eating breakfast.  So I whipped up this card this morning.  It too was made from the card kit at CMK this month.  Fun huh! 

Today I am going in for a size and weight check ultra sound.  So that should be fun.  At least I will have an idea of how big this baby will be.  My guess is about 7lbs 10 oz by now.  Anyone care to guess?  Have a great day!

So very sweet...

Well I have been anxiously anticipating the arrival of our baby girl and let me tell you it is getting down right annoying.  Just because I am swollen more than I thought possible and I just feel miserable.  So if she doesn't come by herself soon then I will be induced on Monday.   It can't get here soon enough for sure. 

Anywho, here is a card I made this morning during Seasame Street.  Fun stuff I tell ya.  I got the cupcake from the card kit at Create My Keepsake this month.  So cute.  Here is what I did with it.  TFL!

A LO Share today

Okay so I made this LO for my Random Chaos assignment for this week.  It was fun to make.  I really like the outside border.  Be sure to go and check out the blog and join in on the fun!  Have a fantastic day!

Always a struggle...

Alright, now I am sure I am not the only mother who goes through this.  Every time it gets close to having another baby, I get all weepy and feel so sad.  Now here is why:  I get induced with my babies so I can schedule when my parents come and others etc, that and I can plan so much more.  Anyway, usually the night before I go in, I go into my youngest child's room and take them out of the crib and rock them and hold them all the while quietly weeping.  This is the last time they will be my baby.  (Bawling even as I type this.)  I rock them and brush their hair and kiss them and just hold them.  I don't know why this is so hard for me (so much for the makeup I actually bothered to put on this morning).   So that's that.  It is a struggle for me not to feel guilty for taking away the title of "baby of the family" from my children.  I am always afraid that I will have a hard time dividing my love equally.  I know this seems odd, but this is primarily the reason I don't foresee me having any more children after this baby girl comes into our home.  

Well on that note.  I finished this layout yesterday and had a hard time not crying.  Look at this boy.  He is just beautiful.  He is so loving and loves to cuddle with me.  I mean willingly, with absolutely no coaxing from  his mom.   Soon he will no longer be the baby and that is always a struggle...

So I made this late last night while watching Step Up 2.  While not very stimulating intellectually, I really did enjoy the dancing.  Though seeing it once will be enough for me.  Anywho, this card is based on Kazan's sketch at 2S4Y this week.  TFL!

Ah the great outdoors

Well I haven't posted in a few days and let me tell you why.  A few weeks back I noticed that Scott was having a rough time with work.  Let me tell you, he is probably the hardest worker I know.  Well it was obvious that he needed a break a way from the job and from the world's worries.  So I suggested we go camping with fishing as the main goal.  I am not a fan of camping.  It is dirty and smelly and at 8 months pregnant I don't find sleeping on an air mattress particularly fun, but I know Scott and my kids love it, so I do it for them.  Even with a few missing ingredients to our food, and other forgotten items, we seemed to have a great time despite it!  Here are some pics of our excursion!

Okay I am wacko!

Well other than being 8 months pregnant, severely swollen and uncomfortable, I seem to be liking the most interesting music as of late.  My latest iTunes purchase being Burnin' Up by the Jonas Brothers.  Seriously, I am not 13 and a teenie bopper, but I am seriously diggin this song.  I can't get enough!  That and I really like Colbie Colliat's Bubbly.  Just a feel good song that I love singing along to.

Anywho, I have been making a few cards this week and I will share this one with you.  It has soft comforting feel to it which made it a perfect sympathy card.  Have a wonderful day!
