Sweet Summer!

So I finally finished this layout.  Now I have to say that I am a litter perturbed.  I went to a LSS to get a pen to do the journaling because I lost my other one.  Well I seriously went at 10:20 this morning and buy it.  I get home and am on the last line of journaling and the thing dies!!!!!!  ARGG!  I am soooo taking it back and exchanging it.  But at least I was able to finish this.  I love how it turned out.  It is soooo much better in real life.  There is glitter on some of the flowers and jewels in the middle of others.  This is based on Sketch #38 over at Pencil Lines.  TFL and have a great day!

Orange Kick

I seem to be on an orange kick.  I really like this paper, just so yummy.  This card I made for the Card Positioning Systems (CPS) sketch this week.  Thanks for looking!

A LO For once!

Okay so I have actually been scrapping, just not posting them.  I will post this one as it was my entry for the DT call for Pencil Lines.  I like the colors on this one a ton!  TFL!

Okay so this was a card challenge by the one and only Melissa Phillips.  I am not sure if it really qualifies as some of the elements are doubled up.  For example you had to have 5 elements:

• Buttons
• Polka-dots
• ribbon
• chipboard
• a heart

So what I mean is my ribbon has polka-dots and my heart is chipboard.  Hope this works.  Either way it was so much fun to make!  Thanks Melissa!

Sketch card!

Another fantastic sketch from Sketch This cards inspired this card.  It looks so much better in real life, but what can you do!  I am off to do some shopping while my kids are at movie day with grandma.  So I will catch you later!  Oh and whoever leaves a comment, I will put you in a drawing for  a mini Lil Davis kit!  Trust me, you will love it!!  Enjoy!

Shanna's Card Challenge (Edited to add the rest)

Well on my good friend Shanna's Blog, she has dealt herself the weightloss hand.  I figured I would jump on this bandwagon and do this as well.  So here is the cover to my altered jumbo card goal album.  Also there is the title page, Keys to Success, and the motivational quote.  I journaled on the back of each of these as well, but didn't take pictures.  Oh well.  Maybe for the next one.
