I finished this LO this morning while my kids were eating breakfast.  I am not sure how well I like it yet, but I am sure it will grow on me.  I have been on a card kick lately and am really liking the results.  Anywho, maybe I will post some of them if not have a look at my cards album.  Have a great day!

Mariners Spring Training Game

You would think since I live in AZ that I would go to more spring training games.  Well I don't.  Mainly because they cost the same as it would to go to a regular season game.  Anywho, on Tuesday I splurged and went with my good friend Kerri to the Seattle Mariners vs San Fransisco Giants.  It was such a great game!  I am a huge Mariners fan!   The Giants were killing us, but it was fun.  It was 9-3 in the bottom of the 9th and people were leaving.  I refused.  I paid good money for these tickets and I was staying til the bitter end.  Well it was great we ended up scoring 5 runs, just 1 shy of tying.  It was so fun.  Willie Bloomquist lead the rally with 2 hits that inning.  So great!  Gotta love baseball.  Thanks to Kerri for going with me.  We had amazing seats.  Sec 101 row D seats 1 & 2.  Right behind home plate.  Here are some pictures of the view we had. The first one is Barry Bonds, that man is just huge!  Then Richie Sexson.  He played for the Diamond Backs here in AZ before going to the Mariners.  A good acquisition if you ask me.  Then the ever impressive Ichiro Suzuki.  That man is seriously speedy.  He is a free agent at the end of the season and let me tell you the Mariners better not let him go.  The last is the final score.  Good times!

Baby Boy

So I wanted to make a Ryan page as he doesn't have many.  I sat down and did this very clean, very simple layout.  I also wanted to focus more on my journaling too.  I think I accomplished that.  I was actually shocked to see how straight my writing came out.  I slant my paper when writing so I tend to write upwards.  Did okay on this one. The picture is off, but what can you do.

Luke Days!

Well yesterday my family and I ventured out to Luke Air Force Base for Luke Days.  At first I wasn't going to go, I needed to stay home and get my house cleaned up.  Somehow Scott talked me into it and so I went.  I have to admit it was pretty cool.  Aside from the occasional children fighting and the constant weather changes it was good.  I am now a lobster.  No sunblock and that's what I get.  Hopefully I will be able to stand touch again.  That means touching anything, be it a hug or bumping up against a wall.  OUCHIE!!!!  Here are some pictures taken from yesterday to get you through.

So it did rain!!  We got a good soaking too.  Love it!!!!!  Here are some pictures I took out my door and I ventured into the elements to take some too!

It smells like Rain!

So I went outside to walk my hubby to his truck and noticed it smelled like rain.  Now to give you some background.  I love the rain.  It is my favorite kind of weather followed by snow.  I know go figure, then spring with a good 72 degree with a slight breeze.  Anywho, I am stoked by the chance of rain we will have here in the valley!  Oh if it only reaches us!  Usually the southeast valley gets pounded and we get the spits of whats left over.

My poor phone

Well it's a sad story actually.  I went to the scrapbook store (story of my life) and I had my phone with me as usual.  I loaded the kids up in the van and took off.  Well I went over a small bump, looked in my rearview mirror and didn't see anything so I proceeded to go on my way to my lunch appt. with my Mother in Law.  Well on my way I wanted to use my phone to make a call, couldn't find it anywhere.  So I get to the restaurant and use my MIL's phone.  Called the store and Ginger told me that someone had brought it in and that it had been run over.  ARG!!!!!!!!  Sadly I think that someone was me.  Here is what it looks like now.

I only have 6 months left with my service and plan to change to another network.  So I bought this phone on ebay last night and hopefully it will get to me by next Tuesday or Wednesday. 

I have my MIL's old TMobile phone to get me through until then.  Thanks Betsy!!   

Gotta Love the SUNS!!

Okay so seriously isn't it great to be a Suns fan??!!  Did you watch the game last night?  Holy amazazzing!!  Scott and I were watching it in our room and we figured they were done for with 57 seconds left and down by five.  Were we wrong!!!  Much to our greatest surprise and pleasure!  So obviously they end up winning in double OT.   My big thing was watching the Mavs go from all cocky to completely dumbstruck.  It was classic.  Can I just add, that Jason Terry, while a very good player sure knows how to talk smack.  First I didn't really hold the guy in great regard, but after watching the game I have to say, it was enjoyable to watch him how animated and into the game he was.  His facial expressions were classic.   Amare was all over the place, in a good way, hustling for rebounds, and key offensive plays that got him 41 points! James Jones' 3 point shots were key in the 2nd quarter.  Shawn Marion seriously made some big plays in his usual quiet way.  I never pictured Leandro Barbosa ever fouling out, but stranger things have happened.  You could tell Boris Diaw was a little gun shy still.  It will come back with time.  Raja did well with 11 points.  But  what can you say about Steve Nash??!!  The man is a genius with the basketball.  He sees the court like no other player I have ever seen!  How he comes up with these passes and gotta love the rainbow shots over Dirk Nowitzki!  So basically it will come down to Steve and Dirk in the MVP race and let me tell you, hands down Nash deserves it more.    And there you have, my take on the game.  Like you care, but I just had to share my excitement!

What's going on?

Okay so I finished another book The Quilter's Apprentice.  Thanks Lisa!  It was really good.  I started one last night and had a very hard time putting it down.  At 1:30 this morning I finally did.  So we will see how good I am today about finishing it and getting another.  It's insane! 

I finished my cards for the card swap at Keepsake Trends.  I am hosting so I will have to be mailing them all out when I get them.  How fun is that!  I started yesterday and finished last night.  I used a card map by Becky Fleck.  It was a great help!  I would totally post the picture of it, but I can't.  It would be a give away for the guessing game on the forums of which card they like best.  Not knowing whose card it is, they guess which one they like the best.  It's all fun stuff!  There are some pretty good cards so far.

Well we went to the park yesterday but sadly there are no pictures to go along with it.  I do have a picture to share with you and see if this doesn't freak you out!  Scott took these the other day.  These are bees that are flying around my Texas Laurel tree by my driveway. There are a variety of colors too.  Think 2 inches long.  Yipes!
