Hey there! It's been a while. A long while. This last month has been unbelievably busy for me and my family. We went to Disneyland, celebrated 2 birthdays, had a baptism, my parents came to visit, a long time friend came to visit, had a remarkable time at a coloring class, my three sisters came to visit and finally all that came to a close. I think that was a run on sentence... Anywho, now I am able to sit down and blog a little.
Today I am up on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog. I made this card in a short amount of time. I have to say, my coloring has become faster now that I have had hours upon hours of practice. I love Copic coloring. Here is the card I made for the post:
You can see the entirety of the post HERE. Be sure to leave some love! I also give the step by step instructions on how I made it and a few close up photos. Have a wonderful day!

Hello!! I have to say that I am super excited for fall to be here. Here in AZ we have seen 100+ temperatures for far too long as it is. Sadly, we have a few more months of such stuff. Fortunately, we have the Craftin' Desert Divas August Release to give us a glimpse of what fall looks like!
Here are a few cards I made with these fun sets!
Here are the step by step directions:
First, I stamped the background with versamark watermark ink and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder.
I then trimmed it down and adhered a black panel onto the front of the card.
Third, I die cut the words thank you and adhered it to the panel.
Lastly, I adhered it to the card base to finish it off.
This card was made by following these steps:
First I taped off the edges with 1/2 inch post it tape.
Then I stamped the acorn house image. I stamped the image again on an all adhesive post it note to mask the image.
I trimmed a piece of post it tape for the horizon line.
Next I went to my Distress Oxide inks and blended the sky.
I removed the horizon and masked the sky to finish the landscaping.
I stenciled on the walk way and then removed all masking.
Using my Copic markers I colored the house.
To finish it off I stamped the sentiment and then added stars with a white gel pen.
Whew! That's a lot of steps but every one worth the reveal in the end. Off you go to enjoy the rest of the hop.
Here is a full list of the great inspiration you will find on today's hop!
Ashley H -you are here!
Enjoy and have so much fun!

Well hello again! I hope you are enjoying all that is coming out with Craftin Desert Divas in this lates release. Today we are sharing the background set called, well Leafy Background. I had a lot of fun creating with this one for sure.
Here is the product of that playing!
Here is how I made the card.
I inked up the background stamp with Distress Oxide Inks:
I then took a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper and placed it over the top and pressed down evenly. If you have a brayer or a large acrylic block, that would be a great way to keep the paper from sliding around and getting a good image.
I then trimmed the stamped image down and adhered it to a black card base.
I inked up a piece of cardstock with the oxide inks and then cut out the word thanks from the Thank & Thank You die cut.
I adhered the Thanks to the black background that I glittered with a Wink of Stella glitter pen and adhered it to the card with foam adhesive.
I finished off the card by adhering Lollipop sequins to the card.
Hope you like it! Be sure to head on over to the Craftin Desert Divas Blog to find some other fabulous creations!
