So after months and months and months of begging my husband to put up shelves in my scraproom, it happened!!!! I went to IKEA yesterday and found the perfect shelves. I took them home and my wonderful husband got to work. He is so good at things like this. For some reason the hardware wasn't perfect and the studs were not where they should be, so Scott took things into his own hands. He got out his stud finder and drilled through the bracket and made sure that my shelves were going to hold. I mean really hold. He did such a wonderful job! THANK YOU BABY!
Here is a before and after photo.
Not to worry, when the job is complete of cleaning and organizing, you will have the final scrap room photo. Well semi-final as I want to put in new flooring, but that will be a while.
So in honor of all the fun, I have a box of scrappy stuff for one lucky reader. Just leave me a comment by noon on Thursday PST and I will put you in a drawing for this box. It has chipboard, 6x6 paper, stickers, all sorts of good stuff!
I have been doing some work for The Scrap Review lately and have been enjoying myself thoroughly. Be sure to bookmark TSR to see my review in a week! Anywho, I recently made this card and I just love it. It makes me happy and happens to be one of my recent favorites.
I know it seems I have been gone forever. Sorry about that. Well I will post a little something I made a while back. Just a fun little card that I love. I truly enjoyed making this sweet, fun card. I just loved how it turned out. Enjoy!
Sarah came home from her first day of school yesterday and said she needed a water bottle. So my wonderful mother in law stopped by the store late last night and bought one for me and brought it to me. It happened to be the same color as Andrew's and so I knew I needed to girlie it up a bit. I was thinking how I was going to do it, and then it hit me. RUB ONS!! WOO HOO! So I rubbed away. Note this was late and I wasn't thinking properly or rather measuring distance properly so her name is in an odd spot, but it still turned out cute. I covered it with clear nail polish to seal it and hopefully make it waterproof. What do you think?
Okay so the new BoBunny team was announced on their blog. Go check it out! So with that in mind, I made a card with their new Flutter Butter line. Just a simple yet pretty card. Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!
