I love the 4th of July! So festive, so patriotic. All the parades, celebrations and family getting together. What is not to love? Around this time last year was the first round of PC Gallery Idol. Our first challenge was to make a patriotic card. I have to say this was the hardest card for me. Not because I wasn't patriotic, I just didn't know how to convey that on a card. I stressed and stressed and made like 4 different cards before I made this one. Even to this day it remains in my top ten favorite cards.
I hope you all have a wonderful day spent with friends and loved ones! Enjoy your weekend and be safe!

Now for the hilarious funny. I watched this video on youtube last night with my husband and we laughed so hard. I am sure we watched it like 20 times. Hilarious!!
Okay so I want to show you a few projects that I have made with the Cosmo Cricket lines. I absolutely just love all of them!! They are so easy to work with and just bring out some crazy creativity in me. Gotta love that! This is actually my application for their Design Team call. Fun huh?!
Yay! I made the Top 20 of the PC Gallery Idol challenge. You can see the post here. They chose the card posted below and so I am pretty excited. I have a few of my friends joining me in the top 20 and it should be great fun participating with them. Our next theme is weddings. Hmmmm....I will have to get on that, well at least start thinking about it. It is due next Monday. Wish me luck!
So I have had the vision of a card in my head for a while now and it just hasn't made it's way out into reality, until now. It is a little different than I had imagined, but I still like how it turned out. I don't think I have ever used more than 2 different manufacturer pp's on a card. This one has 5! Fuh huh. Thanks for stopping by.
Okay so this year's open call for the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol is now closed. I submitted a few cards and here is my favorite of them all. I really like this one. It just made me happy. Hope you have a great day!
